Journey Began

how our

Started back in 2019, when a group of friends decided to create a safe area in the local park for football. We provided the basic equipment, such as goal posts, hi-vis vests, and footballs. It was an instant hit, and local families started to bring their kids. We were delighted to see how quickly the number of members soared and that weekend football became a regular activity for many people from the local area.

In a short period of time, we transformed the energy and enthusiasm of our community into our vision to develop and form a club to give children a future in the sport they love. It was then that our quest to find the perfect football pitch started. Following months of searching and consultations, we found land at Hockley Port, but we knew we had a long period of hard work to make it a suitable ground for our team. However, thanks to the combined efforts of our community and the passion that brings us together, we can now call it home.

The overall ethos of North Edgbaston Sports Club is to work for the betterment of our community, regardless of ethnicity or gender.
